How fitting is this restoration! The Elephant was built during the Great Depression and has been restored during a (great) recession!
I grew up about a mile from this icon, near 97th and Dayton. How neat that it is still there (back again) and in restored condition. I hadn't known it was gone as I live in AZ now. Thanks Aurora Rents! Saving Seattle one large step at a time... I remember the florist shop - the owners also had a neat black long-haired cat... |
