Aurora|Seattle is a blog site committed to telling the stories of Seattle's Aurora Avenue - the good, the bad, and the absolutely bizarre. Yes, Aurora Avenue is an old highway (aka, 99) and a boundary between neighborhoods (Greenwood and Licton Springs, Green Lake and Phinney Ridge), but it is also an emerging neighborhood with its own networks and dreams and stories to tell.
The focus area of Aurora|Seattle is primarily the stretch between the zoo and the cemetery (65th & 110th), though occasionally the themes of this street will take us north and south.
